“Ok, I know what you’re thinking…I have WAY too much free time on my hands. While that may be true, that’s not what prompted this project.
We regularly host CNC demonstrations here at Wood Werks. Frankly, cutting out plywood cabinet parts doesn’t make for the most interesting of demos. Inspired by a die-cut cardboard deer trophy mount which I saw years ago, I set out to build a CNC produced model cut from 1/4″ Masonite hardboard. I thought this might provide a more suitable demo project.
The finished product turned out really well. It’s a great conversation piece.
And no, there were no animals harmed in making of this project.”
